back in february, i had the amazing opportunity to shoot a wedding in cancun, mexico.  i was seriously in photographer heaven!  so many beautiful colors and textures, not to mention the beach and warm weather!  we did three shoots while we were there, and i truly loved every minute of it.  i felt like i really got to try new things and get our of my usual comfort zone, especially working with someone like jasmine, who is so creative and stylish.  this is just the beginning of my adventure in mexico!  more shoots to come!

on the bus ride to downtown:

we had a cute little boy peeking over the edge of this wall in such confusion/amazement.  it was cracking me up.

does it get any better than this yellow and blue?!  every street had something new and fun.

we did this shoot for sole envy’s summer window display. such fun shoes!  and would you believe me if i told you this beautiful girl is only 12 years old?!

cute lindsay just graduated from uvu in elementary education! i’m so proud of her (especially considering that i’m an eled dropout)! we took these pictures for her graduation announcement.

this cute little family is related to me!  they were here visiting from boston and we did a quick little session in logan.

i think it’s safe to say little miss atty has become my number one shot client to date.  which is great because it’s so important to capture all those milestones in their first year.  they change so much!  i remember taking her newborn pictures just a year ago!  i can’t believe she’s already one.  her momma and grandma are quite the talented crafty people and they brought lots of fun stuff to this special birthday shoot, including a delicious cake that my little miles was happy to help eat when we were all done.

we almost didn’t do this shoot.  we had plans for it. but the chance for snow wasn’t great, seeing as this winter has been so dry.  well, we woke up that morning to snow!  and i was beyond excited.  i’ve been wanting to do a shoot like this for a long time.  not to mention i got to hang out with one of my favorite people who i hadn’t seen in over a year!  thanks heather!  i love you and your sweater!
